Tyler has also realized that when he gets tired on his stomach he doesn't have to just scream. It is quite comfortable to just rest his head down and regain some strength. He still does not believe me that tummy time is much easier if he would prop himself up on his elbows, so he exhausts himself quickly in his "superman" pose, as we call it-arms out, legs up, rocking on his belly. I feel as though this is just the beginning of Tyler wanting to find his own way instead of listening to his mom!

More Tummy Time-February 3-9
Tyler is starting to tolerate tummy time much more than in the past few weeks! Now that he is rolling all over the place, he seems to spend more time on his tummy than on his back. At times I will leave him on his back playing with toys, wash a few dishes, and return only to find him happily on his stomach chewing on a toy or pulling Zepp's hair. Zepp is absolutely loving Tyler's new found mobility, better coordination, and firm grasp as Tyler will reach out and hold onto Zepp as if he'll never let go! I often think that Zepp should be bothered by Tyler's grip, but for now I think he's just loving any extra attention he can get!

Eric and my Dad spent many hours bringing this room to life for baby Tyler. They made about 100 trips to home depot and used tools I've never heard of to put up Wainscoting, curtains, and a ceiling fan. The girls were in charge of the "Friendly Frog" paint!
Let's Start at the Beginning....
Back in the Fall of '08 Eric and I discovered that we were pregnant! So exciting, so scary, but so ready. Little did we know what our lives were going to become over the next 12 months...to bring us to today, a Saturday night, when I'm sitting on our new(ish) couch in our new(ish) house staring at our new baby monitor instead of our beautiful flat screen TV...but as much as I love our TV, I love what's on the other end of this baby monitor more than I thought possible!
But I'm getting ahead of myself...let's go back to before the arrival of Lil' T.
