Tubby Time

In February Tyler had a doctor's check-up and we were told that he had a little bit of baby eczema.  The nurse practitioner told us to only give him a bath every other night and lather him up with Aquaphor each night before bed.  We were all very sad about missing tubby because it is one of Ty's favorite times of the day and a very important part of our bedtime routine.  Fortunately Tyler's skin has cleared up completely and he is back to his old self, although I don't think he even knew anything was wrong.  So, even though he doesn't get a tubby every night, he still loves to be in the water.  Just tonight he realized that if he tilted his head far enough to the side he could grab a little sip of water.  Each time he did it he would look back up at me with a huge smile, so proud of himself!  His poor eye kept going under water too and he didn't realize that he could close it, so it got bright red!!  Again, I don't think he knew anything was wrong.

Ty loves to sit up like a big boy in his tubby now.  Gives him more freedom to grab some toys.  He's a huge fan of the letters these days!
